Preston Cody consults for the oil and gas industry, currently with Wood Mackenzie, an energy researching and consulting firm. He assists clients with a wide range of business issues, including their upstream growth strategy, business environment, resource monetization, and transaction support. Earlier in his career, he worked as a software designer and project manager at the Educational Testing Service (ETS), where he led teams to develop innovative new ways to deliver and score assessments for an exceptional teacher recognition program and K-12 testing.
Preston graduated from Princeton University in 2000 with an AB degree in Economics and earned additional certificates in Finance and Computer Science. He received the Kozmetsky Scholar award from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas, where he completed an MBA in 2007.
He and his wife, Heather, are raising their children, Annabelle and Declan, in Houston, TX.
