As director of development for Free To Choose Network (FTCN), Carmine Camillo leads the development department and fosters relationships with individuals, foundations, and corporations to advance the mission of FTCN. He joined the company early 2013.
Previously, Camillo served as director of marketing for the Bayfront Convention Center in Erie, PA. There he coordinated marketing and sales efforts to increase the number, value and type of events booked at the convention center. Prior to that, he was the public relations manager for Waste Management (a Fortune 200 company) throughout Western Pennsylvania, responsible for advancing corporate goals and messaging across a large and diverse coverage territory.
After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science, Camillo served as a legislative advisor to the Honorable Jane M. Earll, Pennsylvania State Senator (49th District) in her Erie and Harrisburg/Capitol offices.
Camillo is also a graduate of Leadership Erie, a program dedicated to the development of community leadership, involvement and cooperation in the Greater Erie area. He has served on numerous professional, volunteer and community boards, including the Manufacturer and Business Association Public Policy Advisory Committee, the Advertising Federation of NWPA Board, and the Alumni Leadership Council at the University of Pittsburgh. He also served as a board member of Early Connections, the Erie Times-Newspaper in Education, and the Achievement Center. Currently, Camillo is a member of the Giuseppe Mazzini Civic Association and La Nuova Aurora Society.
He currently lives in Erie, PA with his wife, daughter and son.
